Sales commissions are calculated according to a progressive and different mechanism by product category. According to the value of the transaction and the product category, therefore, the commission that Zalando retains changes, fluctuating between 5 and 25%.
For example, within the Shoes category, the commissions are as follows:
- 5% if the transaction is up to 20 euro
- 10% if the transaction is up to 50 euro
- 20% if the transaction is up to 100 euro
- 25% if the transaction exceeds 100 euro
